In this episode of the bedroom-desk project the biscuit cutter also known as a plate joiner was introduced.. The biscuit cutter's main function is alignment of materials. It can, at times be difficult to glue up 2 pieces of wood and ensure that the joint is smooth. Using the biscuit cutter to cut several slots along the length of 2 pieces of wood, then using the biscuit will ensure that the joint is lined up correctly and is smooth. that is precisely why I used the biscuit cutter on this project.
