Today was a discussion about the different templates that are needed to create the supporting structure of the table. Especially important is the template setup that will allow two pieces to be glued together and have the mating surfaces match, with no imperfections. I have found that 1/2" MDF makes an excellent template material. But, when building forms for the bent laminations, use two pieces of 3/4" MDF glued together. You will need this strength when you start clamping the material together.MDF is also very dusty. Try to have some type of dust collection when sanding this material.

I researched several options and decided on Unibond 800 for the glue to glue up the bent laminations. The is a two part urea formaldehyde glue, one part liquid, the other a fine powder. Please use gloves and a dust mask when mixing this glue. Also, make sure you have plenty ventilation. The gases from the glue can be a problem.
