We started the shop in March of 2003. The only thing contracted out was the slab. I considered doing it myself, but after checking quotes against a do it myself job,
I decided it would be better to contract it out. I am glad I did. I watched 3 guys do it in three days.
It would have taken me a whole lot longer.
We had the building dried in
by June 2003. Luckily, we had no rain during that time.
The building is 24x32 with 10ft walls. The tall walls are the only way to go. I have no problem with 8ft plywood.
This really is my great escape. It has central heat/air, cable tv, refrigerator, and bathroom facilities. I hope you enjoy your trip around the shop. You are always welcome.
